I grew up in Montreal and started painting watercolours along the beautiful coastlines of Maine and Massachusetts where I would often holiday. Through the years, my creativity led me in various directions and while illustration, photography and architectural work paid the bills, I continued to paint in my spare time.
A chance visit to Vancouver in the 80’s made me decide to move to the West Coast and it’s here that I ended up immersing myself in my paints and brushes full time. I have recently moved to the Sunshine Coast and continue to paint, play in the garden and tinker with vintage motorcycles.
With my current work on cut wood panels, I thoroughly enjoy blending my passion for detail with the abandonment of abstraction, trying to portray the different areas of our lives that interconnect and influence each other in sometimes unusual and unpredictable ways.
