Vibrant colours, strength and simplified bold shapes describe the work of Tina Flux. She is a landscape painter and mostly works with acrylic on canvas. Her graphic style showcases the beauty found in nature. It’s her humble tribute to our beautiful planet.
Tina grew up on the Sunshine Coast and made her way back home in 2006 after living in Vancouver, Calgary and abroad. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and has participated in extensive workshops taught directly from artists whom she respects. She lives in Gibsons with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs.
As a child, she remembers her parent’s house full of her grandmother’s art work. She remembers the feeling of mystery and wonder while studying the brushstrokes of the thick impasto oil paint on each painting. This was the initial start to her love of art.
Her paintings have been collected across Canada, the USA, Europe and the middle East.
