September Feature Artist - Matt Boismier 'Life in Watercolour'

Matthew Boismier, also known as Tooninator, is an Art Director for the animation industry, based in Gibsons, BC. He blends his background in illustration and animation with a fine art approach, creating expressive watercolour work that brings a strong sense of character, movement, and mood. His paintings are known for their fluid lines, thoughtful colour choices, and storytelling.
This exhibition centers around a series of plein-air and studio watercolour paintings from the lesser depicted locations around the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver, and abroad. Featuring scenes that often get overlooked as part of everyday life, Matt attempts to show them in a whole new light.
